Our Greenhouse Projects
We are very proud to have been involved in the development, funding and building of the following greenhouses. To see more about each dome click the links below or use the pop-up windows in the navigation toolbar. Most of the greenhouse have photo galleries to explore around and enjoy.
- Gebo - Evergreen Children's Greenhouse, Evergreen Colorado: Completed in the Spring of 2003. This is a 500 square foot, square based pyramid greenhouse with a labyrinth design in it's raised beds. It has solar energy features and a back up wood burning stove.
- Montessori School of Evergreen, Evergreen Colorado: Constructed in May of 2005. This is a 22 foot geodesic dome greenhouse with premium triple wall poly carbonate glazing and student constructed stucco/adobe style raised beds.
- Southern Ute Academy, Ignacio Colorado: Constructed in April, 2006. This is a 22 foot geodesic dome greenhouse developed with the intention of preserving the wisdom of tribal elders knowledge of traditional/medicinal plants.
- Foothills Green Community Greenhouse, Lakewood Colorado: Constructed in August of 2006. This is an 18 foot geodesic dome greenhouse for the purpose of expanding supportive family programs of diverse ethnicity, multi-generational, affordable housing communities.
- Troutdale Montessori of Evergreen, Evergreen Colorado: Constructed in August of 2006. This is an 18 foot dome greenhouse currently used by pre K through 3rd grade students.
- Troy Chavez Peace Garden/Dandelion Project, Denver Colorado: This greenhouse was built in April, 2007. It is a 22 foot geodesic greenhouse to facilitate expansion into year round therapeutic gardening programs for the youth of both the Dandelion Project and the Troy Chavez Peace Garden.
- Make A Wish Foundation, Cleveland Ohio: Constructed in August 2007. We partnered with Growing Spaces to fulfill a wish for a teenage cancer patient. His desire was for a 15 foot year round dome greenhouse. To review a .pdf article on this dome, click here.
- Marshal Family, Conifer, Colorado: A Geodesic Dome Greenhouse 18 feet in diameter, built in the summer 2006.
