Youth Garden and Greenhouse Grants and Partnerships

GCG is a grantor organization providing funding and support for children's organizations internationally to develope greenhouse and gardening programs.  Our emphasis is on partnership development to facilitate the accomplishment of youth gardening goals.  Every project is individualized.  We build from a community's assets and augment any deficiencies with our resources and expertise.

First step in building a partnership with GCG

The first step is to e-mail us a statement briefly describing your youth or children's organization and your proposed garden or greenhouse project.

We will follow-up within one week with:

  1. An email state regarding GCG's level of interest.
  2. Suggestions on where we go from here if your proposal meets our guidelines for potential partnership support.
  3. A Community Assets Assessment worksheet that we send you to complete.
  4. A greeting from a GCG board liaison that your organization will be working with going forward to accomplish you goals.

In return, children's organizations partnering with Global Children's Gardens in the construction and development of a greenhouse or gardening program are requested to "Pay It Forward or Share the Gift " by helping another group of children launch their greenhouse or gardening dream. We'd love to hear about your enthusiasm and experiences.
